# Elite Ti - Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy applies to all purchases made from Elite Ti through our website, invoice, direct order, or other approved sales channels. By placing an order, the customer agrees to this Shipping Policy, our Return and Refund Policy, and our Terms of Service.
## 1. Made-to-order production
Elite Ti primarily sells made-to-order, built-to-order, and custom automotive parts.
Standard production typically requires **4 to 6 weeks**, but production timelines may vary depending on order volume, material availability, custom specifications, quality control requirements, and freight scheduling.
Production, procurement, preparation, or order processing may begin once payment is received and the order is confirmed.
All production dates, completion dates, dispatch dates, and estimated ship dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
## 2. Order verification
Customers are responsible for verifying before checkout or payment:
- vehicle application
- fitment
- model year
- chassis specification
- left-hand-drive or right-hand-drive configuration where applicable
- shipping address
- delivery contact details
- shipping method
- any custom requirements, finish selections, or special instructions
Elite Ti provides pre-purchase support to assist with verification, but the customer remains responsible for confirming that the order details are correct before purchase.
## 3. Shipping methods
Elite Ti may ship orders using one or more of the following methods, depending on the item, destination, urgency, dimensions, and commercial practicality:
- air freight
- sea freight
- LTL or freight service
- courier service
- consolidated freight
- container shipping
- local final-mile delivery
- other logistics methods selected by Elite Ti or agreed in writing with the customer
Elite Ti reserves the right to select, change, combine, or substitute shipping methods, carriers, or routing as reasonably necessary to complete delivery.
## 4. Shipping quotes, direct rates, and third-party logistics partners
Elite Ti may facilitate shipping quotes or direct shipping rates through third-party logistics providers or forwarding partners, including but not limited to **fastship.co** and **Dragon Courier**.
Any shipping quote, estimate, or direct rate is provided as a convenience only and is subject to change until the shipment is fully booked, confirmed, and paid.
Shipping rates may change due to factors including but not limited to:
- carrier pricing updates
- volumetric weight or dimensional adjustments
- crate or packaging changes
- destination surcharges
- remote area fees
- fuel surcharges
- customs handling
- route changes
- peak season pricing
- port or terminal charges
- market freight fluctuations
- errors in estimated dimensions or weights
Elite Ti is not responsible for carrier or forwarder rate changes that occur before booking or dispatch.
## 5. Container shipping and variable freight billing
For container shipping, consolidated container shipping, or other freight movements quoted separately from the product price, shipping charges are variable and may change based on actual booking conditions, final dimensions, destination, port fees, customs requirements, terminal handling, and related logistics costs.
Where container or freight shipping is billed separately, the customer is responsible for paying the full shipping invoice before the shipment is booked, released, loaded, dispatched, or handed over for export.
If the shipping invoice is not paid in full, Elite Ti may delay shipment, hold the order, cancel the shipping arrangement, or require a revised freight quote before proceeding.
Any container timeline, freight lane estimate, sailing schedule, or arrival estimate is approximate only and is not guaranteed.
## 6. Transit times
Transit times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Estimated transit times may vary depending on shipping method, destination, customs processing, local carrier performance, seasonal congestion, and other external factors.
Typical transit estimates may include, but are not limited to:
- air freight: typically faster, but dependent on destination, airline routing, customs clearance, and final-mile handling
- sea freight: typically longer, and may involve port delays, customs review, local delivery coordination, and destination handling
- container shipping: variable depending on lane availability, container loading schedule, port operations, customs processing, and final delivery arrangements
Elite Ti is not liable for losses, delays, missed deadlines, inconvenience, labor costs, shop downtime, storage fees, or project delays resulting from estimated transit times not being met.
## 7. Customs, duties, taxes, and import charges
International shipments may be subject to customs duties, VAT, GST, tariffs, brokerage fees, storage fees, inspection fees, local handling charges, or other import-related costs.
Unless Elite Ti explicitly confirms in writing that a shipment includes destination duties, taxes, or customs charges, all such charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Elite Ti provides export documentation as reasonably required but cannot control customs authorities, customs policies, inspections, local regulations, or destination-country import treatment.
Failure by the customer to pay required import or destination charges may result in delay, storage charges, return-to-sender charges, seizure, abandonment, or destruction of the shipment. Any resulting costs are the responsibility of the customer.
## 8. Shipping insurance and transit risk
Elite Ti may offer optional shipping insurance, shipment protection, or similar coverage for certain orders.
If the customer purchases shipping insurance or shipment protection, Elite Ti will reasonably assist with the claim process for verified transit loss or transit damage, subject to the carrier’s or insurer’s terms, documentation requirements, and claim approval.
If the customer declines shipping insurance or shipment protection, the customer acknowledges and agrees that Elite Ti is not responsible for uninsured loss, theft, or transit damage occurring after the shipment has been handed to the carrier, except where the claim results from:
- shipment of the wrong item by Elite Ti
- clearly insufficient packaging by Elite Ti
- any obligation that cannot be excluded under applicable law
All transit damage claims, whether insured or uninsured, must be reported to Elite Ti within **48 hours** of delivery and must include:
- order number
- photos of the item
- photos of the damage
- photos of all packaging materials
- photos of the outer box or crate
- photos of the shipping label
The customer must retain all original packaging and packing materials until the claim is fully reviewed. Failure to provide timely notice or adequate documentation may result in denial of the claim.
Elite Ti may, in its sole discretion, assist with an uninsured carrier claim as a courtesy, but Elite Ti is not obligated to provide a refund, replacement, credit, or reimbursement for uninsured transit loss or damage.
## 9. Address accuracy and delivery information
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address, recipient name, phone number, email address, and any delivery instructions required for successful shipment.
Elite Ti is not responsible for delays, loss, failed delivery, or extra charges caused by:
- incomplete address information
- incorrect address information
- invalid contact details
- business closures
- recipient unavailability
- missed delivery appointments
- customer failure to respond to the carrier
- customer failure to complete customs or import requirements
Any correction fees, re-delivery fees, storage charges, return fees, or other costs caused by inaccurate or incomplete customer information are the responsibility of the customer.
## 10. Address changes after order placement
Address changes may be requested after order placement, but Elite Ti does not guarantee that an address change can be completed.
If a shipment has already been packed, booked, exported, cleared, transferred to a final-mile carrier, or entered customs processing, address changes may be impossible or may result in additional charges.
Any additional fees caused by an address change request are the responsibility of the customer.
## 11. Condition of delivery
Elite Ti has fulfilled its shipping obligation once the shipment is handed to the carrier and the order is shipped to the address provided by the customer.
A shipment is considered delivered when the carrier marks it as delivered to the address provided at checkout or otherwise confirmed by the customer.
This includes situations where:
- the customer is not present at the time of delivery
- the package is left according to local carrier procedures
- the shipment is delivered to a reception desk, front office, building staff, or mail room
- the shipment is placed at an access point, pickup point, or secure drop location
- the shipment is marked delivered after delivery appointment coordination
- the customer refuses delivery
Unless covered by purchased shipping insurance or otherwise required by applicable law, Elite Ti is not responsible for:
- theft after delivery
- missing packages marked as delivered
- loss after delivery
- refused delivery
- failure by the customer to accept delivery
- packages left according to carrier procedure
- packages delivered to the address provided by the customer but not personally received by the customer
## 12. Inspection upon delivery
Customers must inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery and before installation, painting, coating, modification, or use.
The customer must verify:
- the correct item was received
- the shipment arrived without visible transit damage
- the item appears consistent with the order
- there are no obvious issues requiring immediate notice
Failure to inspect the shipment promptly may result in denial of a shipping-related claim.
## 13. Refused shipments, failed delivery, and abandoned freight
If a customer refuses shipment, fails to accept delivery, fails to respond to the carrier, fails to pay required import or destination charges, or otherwise causes the shipment to be returned, abandoned, or destroyed, the customer remains responsible for all resulting costs.
These costs may include:
- original shipping charges
- return shipping charges
- storage charges
- customs or brokerage charges
- handling charges
- disposal charges
- re-delivery charges
- repackaging charges
In such cases, Elite Ti may deduct these amounts from any approved credit or refund, or may deny any refund entirely if the shipment cannot be recovered in saleable condition.
## 14. Freight delays and events outside Elite Ti control
Elite Ti is not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- customs inspections
- customs holds
- port congestion
- airline or vessel delays
- carrier operational delays
- weather
- natural disasters
- labor actions or strikes
- war, sanctions, or geopolitical events
- route changes
- regulatory changes
- local restrictions
- peak season shipping congestion
- forwarding or final-mile delivery issues
Such delays do not constitute grounds for cancellation, chargeback, refund, or refusal of payment.
## 15. Pre-shipment inspection and handcrafted product variation
All items are inspected by Elite Ti prior to shipment.
Carbon fiber and other composite products are handcrafted. Minor weave variation, finish variation, edge variation, resin variation, or other normal handcrafted characteristics do not constitute shipping damage, product defect, or grounds for a refund, replacement, or chargeback.
Professional installation is recommended or required for many products. Elite Ti is not responsible for damage caused by improper installation, force fitting, modification, third-party work, or post-delivery handling.
## 16. Shipping policy and refund policy coordination
All requests relating to wrong item claims, transit damage claims, suspected defects, returns, replacements, credits, or refunds are also governed by the Elite Ti Return and Refund Policy.
If there is any overlap between shipping-related claims and return/refund-related claims, the customer must comply with both policies.
