Fitment, Installation and Product Safety Notice

Automotive and motorsport components can affect vehicle safety. Use qualified professional installers and follow product-specific instructions. Stop use immediately if a component is loose, damaged, cracked, overheated, interfering with controls, or otherwise unsafe.
1. Verify the application
Before ordering and installation, verify chassis code, model year, trim, market, body style, LHD or RHD configuration, OEM or aftermarket surrounding parts, and any prior collision repair or modification. Product titles are not a substitute for complete application data.
2. Dry fit before finishing
Test fit composite body and interior products before paint, wrap, final clear coat, drilling, trimming, sanding, bonding, or permanent fastening. Confirm panel gaps, mounting points, latch operation, tire clearance, cooling airflow, sensor clearance, and adjacent-component compatibility.
3. Installation work
Some parts require normal professional alignment, shimming, trimming, drilling, bracket adjustment, or transferred hardware. Product pages should identify material installation requirements. Force fitting, excessive stress, or installation that distorts the part is prohibited.
4. Fasteners and torque
Use correct fasteners, washers, locking methods, and torque values for the application. Do not assume titanium or lightweight fasteners use the same torque as OEM steel hardware. Inspect and re-torque after initial use and at intervals appropriate to street or motorsport operation.
5. Hoods, trunks, aero, and body panels
Confirm latch engagement and secondary retention. Hood pins or additional restraints are required where stated by ETi, the vehicle builder, sanctioning body, or safe installation practice. Inspect aero mounts, splitter supports, wing stands, doors, and panels for cracking, looseness, and impact damage.
6. Heat and exhaust clearance
Maintain safe clearance from exhaust, turbochargers, brakes, and other heat sources. Install appropriate shielding where required. Carbon, resin, adhesives, coatings, and wiring can be damaged by excessive heat.
7. Seats, harnesses, and safety systems
Seats, rails, brackets, harnesses, airbags, and restraint systems must be installed as a complete compatible system by a qualified professional. Do not infer FIA, SFI, DOT, TÜV, or road approval unless expressly documented for the exact product.
8. Electrical and lighting products
Use correct voltage, fuse protection, grounding, wire gauge, sealing, and heat management. Disconnect the battery where appropriate. Improper wiring can cause fire, component failure, or vehicle damage.
9. Cooling and fluid products
Pressure-test systems, use compatible fluids and fittings, bleed correctly, inspect for leaks, and monitor temperature and pressure after installation. Never open a hot pressurized system.
10. Competition and road legality
Competition use increases load and inspection requirements. The purchaser is responsible for vehicle legality, emissions compliance, noise, lighting, pedestrian-safety, and sanctioning-body rules in the place of use. “For competition use” does not authorize defeat of emissions or safety systems.
11. Inspection and maintenance
Inspect products after installation, after the first drive or heat cycle, before every event, after any impact, and periodically thereafter. Replace damaged or questionable components. Keep installation and inspection records.
12. Reporting a safety concern
Email nate@myeliteti.com immediately with the product, order number, vehicle, installation details, photographs, and description. Do not continue using a potentially unsafe product.
